DAY 1: Full day game drives in Mikumi National Park
Early morning of this day at around 05:30 hours you will be picked up from your Hotel/residence in Morogoro and start drive to Mikumi National Park, When you arrive at the park you will be checked in and continue with full day game drives with lunch break at noon to be taken within the park.
After game drive will drive to Mikumi village for dinner and overnight stay at TanSwiss Lodge.
DAY 2: Trekking in Udzungwa Mountains
The purpose of this trip is to show you the Natural habitats of Udzungwa National Park. Early morning of this day you will be picked from your hotel in Mikumi and drive to Udzungwa Mountains whereby after registering you will start climbing taking the Sanje route to be able to see the 4 stages waterfalls. Udzungwa is one of thirty four World Biodiversity hotspots. Expect to see Primates. Udzungwa have 11 primates species whereby 2 of these are found no where in the world, these are Sanje Mangabey (Cercocebus sanjei) and Iringa Red Colobus (Procobus gordonorum). Also you may have the opportunity to see habituated Sanje Mangabeys, different endemic plant species, birds, reptiles and Amphibians, Butterflies, waterfalls, etc.
When you come down you will start drive back to Morogoro town and upon arrival nyou will be taken to your residence/hotel/airport and that will be the end of your 2 days trip
