Tour Overview
Experience Tanzania’s Great Wildebeest Migration during the calving season of December to April on a 7-night tour that explores Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, Lake Ndutu, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater. Visiting during calving season means the chance to see thousands of young wildebeest and the high numbers of predators they attract, with daily game drives and accommodations in luxurious safari tents and lodges.
Day 1: Arrival
You will be picked up from Kilimanjaro Airport and taken to your hotel.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park (B/L/D)
We will pick you up and proceed to Tarangire National park. This place is characterized by the large herds of elephants, tree climbing lions, and the fascinating baobab trees also called the Tree of Life. This park is especially known for Tarangire river which flows all year round.

Day 3: Karatu to Lake Manyara National Park (B/L/D)
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic lake that made Ernest Hemingway exclaim "the loveliest I had seen in Africa". This offers a compact-game viewing circuit and is one of the most diverse reserves in the country.

Day 4: Karatu to Serengeti South- Ndutu Area (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we set off for Ndutu area situated in the Ngorongoro conservation area, which is part of the southern Serengeti eco-system. Lake Ndutu like most other rift lakes is alkaline however the water is still drinkable and consumed by a wide array of local wildlife.
Overnight: Ndutu safari lodge
Enjoy a full day game drive in the Ndutu area exploring a great range of various habitats such as swamps, woodland, soda lakes and the world famous Serengeti short grass plains. You will witness herds of wildebeest and zebras especially during a short time-frame from around February and lasting for about 3 weeks where majority of the wildebeest calve.

Day 6: Central Serengeti National Park (B/L/D)
Full day of game drives in the wilderness tracking the Great migration trails. Our experienced driver tour guide will provide you with interesting facts about this highly renowned event which made Tanzania the top safari destination in Africa.
Overnight: Serengeti Serena safari lodge
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater (B/L/D)
Drive to the famous Ngorongoro Conservation area. From here, we will descend down to 600 meters into the crater to view an array of wildlife.
Overnight: Ngorongoro Serena safari Lodge
Day 8: Mto Wa Mbu (B/L)
After breakfast, we will drive mto wa mbu for a morning cultural tour and walking safari. We will have a sumptuous local lunch as we take in the stunning views covering us. In the afternoon, we will head back to Arusha or to the airport for your flight back home.
Cancellation Policy
The main role of ITRIP COMPANY is to create customer oriented tours and itineraries. If you cancel at least 30 days in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel between 15 and 10day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee. If you cancel within 5 days of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.
